Join us for a powerful worship celebration at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights as we gather in gratitude, joy, and remembrance. Our service begins with Bless the Lord by Tye Tribbett, setting the tone for a morning of praise. Rev. Beaulah E. Smith will lead the Call to Worship and Invocation, guiding us into a sacred reflection on legacy, resilience, and the enduring faithfulness of God. Together, we will lift our voices in the hymn Lift Every Voice & Sing (#540), honoring both our history and our hope.
Minister Phillip L. Anderson will lead the congregation in prayer, followed by a choral response with Necessary by Dennis Reed & GAP. Sis. Alecia Mason will share Life at First Baptist, and Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore will offer Pastoral Emphasis. Worship will continue through the Ministry of Giving with Everybody Clap Your Hands by Joshua Troop, and we invite you to participate through online giving using the link provided. The Djembe Ministry, led by Rev. Dr. Ava Jolley, will further enrich our worship experience.
As we prepare for the Word, we will be lifted by the meditation We Win by Vincent Bohanan. The preached Word will be delivered by Dr. Cornel West, Dietrich Bonhoeffer Professor of Philosophy & Christian Practice at Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York, offering a timely and prophetic message for this season. Rev. Moore will then extend the Invitation and Benediction.
We conclude this extraordinary service with a Sending Forth led by the Brooklyn United Marching Band, celebrating faith, community, and the victory we share in God. Join us as we worship with joy, strength, and thanksgiving. #myfbcch #SundayWorship #LiftEveryVoice #BrooklynChurch #WeWin
